BTS’s J-Hope Breaks His Own Spotify Record (Again)
He’s the first and only Korean artist to achieve this milestone!
All the way back in 2019, J-Hope became the “Most Followed Korean Solo Artist” on Spotify as he was the first Korean soloist to reach not two or even three but also four, then five million followers on the platform. In May of this year, J-Hope broke his own record again by surpassing six million followers!
At that time, J-Hope climbed to No. 165 on Spotify’s “Top 200 Most Followed Artists.” Yet, just last week, he made history by becoming the first and only Korean solo artist to claim a spot in the “Top 125 Most Followed Artists” on Spotify!
Now, he has achieved yet another milestone. He has broken another one of his own records by surpassing 7 million followers on Spotify. He is once again the first, one, and only Korean artist to do so.
BTS continue to make history as not only a group but as solo artists too. J-Hope is not the only one receiving recognition for his mixtape but also fellow rapper Suga. Suga‘s Agust D discography surpassed one billion streams across Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud last week.
