BTS fans love standees of their K-pop idols. However, one ARMY in the Philippines spooked her neighbours when they mistook a Jin standee in her window for a ghostly apparition.

The Jin stan took to TikTok to clarify the misunderstanding. "So tumawag yung building admin sa akin at 11:30pm para sabihin na really concerned at nababahala na daw yung kabilang condo. Kasi meron silang nakikitang lalaki na nakatayo lang sa may window ko. Tapos nakadungaw, tapos mga 4 days na daw nilang nakikitang gayan So paano ko sasabihin sa kanila na yung Kim Seok-jin standee ko lang sya?!"

(So our building admin called me at 11:30pm to say that the opposite condo is really concerned and worried because they’re seeing a shadowy figure of a man who is just standing at my window. The figure is just looking out of the window, and they’ve seen it for four days now. So how do I say to them that it's only my Kim Seok-jin standee?!)

Life-sized cardboard figures of celebrities are popular novelties among K-pop fans. In this case, the netizen's friends had given her the standee of Jin, and she had placed it near her window in just such a strategic position that it produced a creepy-looking silhouette in her window when viewed from outside.
